OCYM Objective -worship
Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior
Habakkuk 3: 17-19
The true meaning of worship is not what we sa y when we pray to God but how we acknowledge the importance of God in our lives through praying, singing and even talking to people about Jesus. True worship does not occur only when God blesses us. We must glorify God through worship in good times and in bad times. Our God has made it clear through his Word that we must worship no one else. In fact, it is the first commandment in the Ten Commandments he gave Moses. There is nothing that gives Him greater pleasure than worship from those who truly believe in Him. He will delight in us and truly call us His children. As Psalm 149:4 says: "For the Lord takes delight in his people". He created us for His pleasure. Our worship should all be for His glory
This section of our website is devoted to help us understand more about how our church interprets worship and how we can truly call on Him as our "abba", our Father who is in heaven.
